Sompting Abbotts’ School Fees 2023 - 2024
Wrap-around care
There is no additional charge for before- and after-school childcare.
You can leave your Pre-Prep child (under 8s) in our care from 8am - 4.30pm and Prep-age child (8 - 13) from 7.30am to 6pm.
Our termly tuition fees are as follows:

● We accept the full 15/30-hours WSCC Free Entitlement (+ £2.80 per day if you’d like your child to stay for a home-cooked lunch)
● 9am - 3.15pm: £60.75 per day; 9am - noon: £29.16; noon - 3.15pm: £31.59
● You can also drop your child off to our Early Room from 8am or collect from the Late Room until 4.30pm at no extra charge (see below).

● Pre-Preparatory (Reception to Year 2): £3,645 per term
● Preparatory (Years 3 - 8): £4,620 per term

● Fee reduction of 8% for the first child, followed by 10% and 12% etc for subsequent children.

● We make no charge for our before-school or after-school care. This is included in your fees.
● You can leave your Nursery or Pre-Prep child (under 8s) in our care in our Early Room from 8am and Late Room until 4.30pm and your Prep-age child (8 - 13 years) from 7.30am to 6pm.

● Main School extra-curricular clubs in school: no charge. The choice of these varies according to the time of year and you can find more details here.
● Pre-Prep after-school club: £14 per term. Three different themed after-school clubs are offered from 3.30-4pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. If your child attends two of these, the cost will be £28 per term, or if they want to enjoy all three, the cost will be £42 per term.
● Instrumental tuition in piano, flute, clarinet, saxophone, violin, cello, guitar, drum kit and singing: by arrangement.
● Extra tuition learning support: by arrangement for a 35-min lesson, with reductions for shared sessions where they can be appropriately facilitated.
● The shooting range on site is used for specialist extra-curricular sessions with professional instruction. The cost for this each term is £25.

● At your initial enrolment, we request a non-returnable registration fee of £100.
● We include Personal Accident Insurance up to £1m in your invoice.
● We ask you to pay your termly invoice for fees before the first day of term.

Scholarship Results
To decide if Sompting Abbotts is the right fit for your child, please come to one of our Open Days or for an individual visit. You can also arrange taster days for your child. We will allocate your child a 'buddy' so they can experience a full school day.
What child doesn’t love to collect handfuls of glossy brown conkers? At Sompting Abbotts, they don't just fill their pockets — even socks become makeshift pouches. And so, at this time of the year, we send the children out into our school grounds to look for shiny conkers (not that they need any persuading).
