C'est fantastique! Year 6, 7 and 8 are off to Chateau de la Baudonniere, a French language immersion school centre in Normandy. A beautiful farm and estate which enables total immersion in the French language with skilled and qualified animateurs, activities include archery, abseiling, aeroball, orienteering, bread-making, outdoor photography and the outdoor assault course - parcours de santé! Visits are planned to Bayeux, the Musée de la Tapisserie and local markets. French food and culture 100%! On the last night there is a talent show and disco – both were events Sompting Abbotts pupils excelled at last time!

For this year’s show at Sompting Abbotts, Oliver! Jr., director Mrs Turton brought Lionel Bart’s beloved musical to life with incredible energy and talent. A huge well done to all our amazing performers, as well as the so many staff and so many parents who helped bring it all together.
